Most refugees are here because they had to flee harm or imminent death from their original countries. After several months in the United States, they find that they need more direction in navigating the system in terms of housing, education, jobs. Once the short period of government aid ends, these refugees and immigrants are left without sustainable resources or connections. Elimu Empowerment Services exists to remove that imminent gap.
